Tricks of the trade
No because leaks tend to clog themselves soon as the pump shuts off, especially if the pool is not screened or dirty. Loosely this would mean the leak would be in the skimmer or bottom drain where debries settle.
Its best to shut down the pump for a fw days and monitor both the pool and the spa and see which is the problem.
A lot of leaks can be found by kneeling on the deck and inspecting the fittings and skimmer with a mirror. It is always best to be able to get into the pool so your view is better.
